True Blood

I just started watching a new HBO series by the creator of "Six Feet Under" (never seen that one) called "True Blood". It stars Rogue from the X-Men franchise, and there are also a lot of other familiar TV-faces, and it's about (guess) vampires!

Well, to say the truth, it's not the best series out there, but if you're into vampire films you should check this one out. It "borrows" a LOT of elements from the way Anne Rice and the "Vampire" RPG's portray vampires, and the plot is simple. The Japs create a form of synthetic blood, and vampires come out publicly to coexist with mankind.

The interesting stuff is that it doesn't show the large proportions of the subject, but takes place entirely on a southern american village. I've watched the first 6 episodes (I think only 7 or 8 are out there), as the series just started this year on HBO. It seems good so far, I hope they can keep it up. Don't expect "Interview..." though, not even close...
